7. Prescribed design details 7.3 Corporate colours 7.3.1 Primary colours The primary colours HKS 56 K (RLE Green) and HKS 92 K (RLE Grey) have distinguished the RLE INTERNATIONAL Group from its competitors for many years now and remain as compelling colours. Green displays knowledge, information and expertise. Grey is noble, reserved and technical. 7.3.2 Secondary colours In addition to the corporate colours, the secondary colours may be selected to distinguish between corporate divisions or when drawing up complex graphics. 7.3.4 Spread colours The graphic areas of RLE designs should always have a flat white area containing the logo and heads at the upper edge and a coloured area in the lower part that, in turn, may contain text, graphics and images. If a spread colour forms the background, the following colour is defined depending on the print colours: • If the primary colours are printed in full tone, the coloured area corresponds to the 10% grid of HKS 92 K. • If the printing is in 4c Euroscale the coloured areas are covered by 8% black. 7.3.3 Colours for highlighting content Eye-catching elements may be highlighted in HKS 15 K (red). 30 RLE Corporate Manual
