Lambaye Learning Center: Workbook 1
Progress on the Lambaye Learning Center project has been possible because of a multi-group/trans-Atlantic collaborative effort, involving several project-specific methods for communication. This includes two workbooks for soliciting direct input from the community, which has proved invaluable in the development of the learning center. The first workbook introduced the families of Lambaye to the aspirations of Students for Senegal, described the capacity of the BKSK-led design and construction team, and emphasized the role of local residents as partners in the project - in addition to prompting input on topics such as where the learning center should physically go, what qualities make for a great study space, the viability of solar powered systems, and opportunities the center might provide for supporting entrepreneurial activity.
