Thanks to everyone who came along to the last<br />

Working Bee, our school compost is looking<br />

really great!What we need now is an ongoing<br />

supply of all of your wonderful fruit and<br />

vegetable scraps from home.<br />

You can either drop them off yourself on any<br />

school day at drop off or pick up time -just peel<br />

back one of the covered corners of the 'ADD<br />

TO' bay and drop it in. Alternatively, send your<br />

veggie scraps in with your kids on a Thursday<br />

morning and someone will be there to help out.)<br />

WHERE? Compost bins near the cricket nets.<br />

WHEN? Any day of the week (do it yourself ) or<br />

Thursday morning 8:45 – 9:00am.<br />

WHAT? Any fruit and vegetable scraps, tea/<br />

coffee (please no meat, dairy, grains, bread or<br />

plastics etc!)<br />

WHY? Because our compost needs your help<br />

and by doing this we will be diverting<br />

needless landfill.<br />

COMPOST FACT:<br />

Did you know that roughly half of our household rubbish is made up of kitchen scraps and<br />

garden waste that can easily be diverted to compost and not landfill.<br />
