Thanks to everyone who came along to the last
Working Bee, our school compost is looking
really great!What we need now is an ongoing
supply of all of your wonderful fruit and
vegetable scraps from home.
You can either drop them off yourself on any
school day at drop off or pick up time -just peel
back one of the covered corners of the 'ADD
TO' bay and drop it in. Alternatively, send your
veggie scraps in with your kids on a Thursday
morning and someone will be there to help out.)

WHERE? Compost bins near the cricket nets.
WHEN? Any day of the week (do it yourself ) or
Thursday morning 8:45 – 9:00am.
WHAT? Any fruit and vegetable scraps, tea/
coffee (please no meat, dairy, grains, bread or
plastics etc!)
WHY? Because our compost needs your help
and by doing this we will be diverting
needless landfill.
COMPOST FACT:
Did you know that roughly half of our household rubbish is made up of kitchen scraps and
garden waste that can easily be diverted to compost and not landfill.
