Type Locality. – Near <strong>the</strong> house <strong>of</strong> Katsuié Yabuki along <strong>the</strong> Morawan River, Morawan,<br />

Ashoro Town, eastern Hokkaido, Japan.<br />

Formation. – Upper tuffaceous siltstone <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Morawan Formation.<br />

Age. – Late Oligocene.<br />

USA; lower part <strong>of</strong> Yaquina Formation, Late Oligocene (Juanian, Zemorrian).]<br />

Holotype. - USNM 244035, right m<strong>and</strong>ible <strong>of</strong> immature individual with DP4, C, <strong>and</strong> P3-<br />

M3; parts <strong>of</strong> right femur <strong>and</strong> tibia; <strong>and</strong> two phalanges.<br />

Type Locality. - North shore <strong>of</strong> Olympic Peninsula, 34 km west <strong>of</strong> Port Angeles, Clallam<br />

County, Washington, USA.<br />

Formation. - Lower part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> type section <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Pysht Formation.<br />

Age. - Middle or (more likely) late (but not latest) Oligocene (Orellan or Whitneyan).<br />
