DON´T JUDGE A ROD
BY ITS PIECES
Preconceptions... Nasty little things. But also wonderful if you are
determined to change them. Tis was our goal when we began developing
some of our existing LXi rods into fve & six-piece travel rods.
Every fy-fsher in the world ”knows” that a fve or six piece rod just
isn´t as good as a four-piece. When so many pieces are joined together,
much of the action and the ”soul” is lost. Well, things are about to change.
With the new LXi T-Pac series, we have managed to develop travel rods
that maintain the qualities of their original four-piece cousins.
How did we do it? We started from scratch. Again. We began by
putting light recoil-rings on the blanks, ensuring minimum loss of action.
We then shortened the grip so that the rods would deliver more ”feel”
and power in the lower parts. We moved on to refne the blanks and the
ferrules to deliver the power seamlessly from bottom to top. Job done.
Te rods come in an extremely light rod tube and air-meshed rod bag
and will all ft into a travel bag with the rest of your gear. So no more
messing around at the check-in desk. Are you ready to change your mind
about travel rods? Ten stop judging the book by its cover. Go on, take
these new rods out for a test. Make up your own mind. Go beyond.
Go with a T-Pac next time.
