A season dawns so it’s time for a new
fly-line. Lee Wulff’s latest Super Salmon
Spey and TT Plus trout lines have triangle
tapers with a continuous forward taper in
their heads. This provides efficient energy
transfer during casts because the heavy
line constantly turns over the lighter
line – giving ideal presentation because
the weight is away from the fly.
There's a twin colour finish between
the head and running line: Spey –
blue/white; trout – white/yellow green.
The trout line is a half-size heavier,
which loads the rod fast and shoots line.
They have slender welded loops and laserprinted
identification (head weight and
grains) at the leader end. A slick J3 coating,
helps the line to float higher, repel water
and shoot further.
