•Low Low Density (Solar) blocks are ideal <strong>for</strong><br />
clear cavity solutions<br />
•Medium Medium Density (Standard) is used in<br />
partial or fully filled constructions.<br />

Solar - Ideal <strong>for</strong> clear cavity solutions because <strong>of</strong><br />
thermal properties <strong>of</strong> blocks. This is further enhanced if<br />
Solar is used in both leaves <strong>of</strong> the wall.<br />
E.g. Brick Outer-50mm cavity-115mm Solar-27mm<br />
Thermalboard plus = 0.45W/mK 2<br />
or<br />
16mm render-115 Solar-50mm cavity-115mm Solar-9.5<br />
Plasterboard on dabs = 0.43W/mK 2<br />
Standard - Thickness <strong>of</strong> insulation can be reduced when<br />
using Standard compared to dense aggregate blocks.<br />
NB: Clear cavity is possible with Standard if thermal<br />
board lining is used<br />
