OPTICS AND ILLUMINATION SYSTEMS<br />
FOR MACHINE VISION (1 DAY / 2 DAYS)<br />
An optimized optics and illumination set up can significantly improve the<br />
performance of your machine vision system. In this one-day basic course<br />
you will learn how to select the correct components and how to extend<br />
the service life of your illumination, helping you to decrease operational<br />
costs. The two-day advanced course offers in-depth theoretical knowledge<br />
and gives you the opportunity to consolidate your knowledge through<br />
more practical exercises.<br />
Target group: People new to the machine vision domain who need to<br />
plan, design or use machine vision systems. No prior machine vision<br />
knowledge is required.<br />
Content:<br />
• Introduction to the basics of illumination technology, light and colour<br />
• The use of different optics and illumination technologies<br />
• Use of filters, lasers and flash controllers<br />
• Practical demonstrations and exercises with sample parts from<br />
participants (one-day basic course)<br />
• Extensive theoretical introduction and practical exercises with sample<br />
parts from participants (two-day advanced course)<br />
