TBV member Raspberry Catering celebrates nearly 5 years
of trading & expansion
Raspberry Catering, aelod o LBT, yn dathlu bron i 5 mlynedd o fasnachu ac ehangu
TBV member Raspberry Catering established in 2011 is coming
up to its 5th birthday. Julie Nelson set up the outside catering
business, initially from her home, after being made redundant,
wanting to focus on a different career and is passionate about
seasonal and non-processed food.
Initially unsure if the corporate market and private customers
would pay a little more for quality homemade food, Julie has
seen the business grow steadily with catering services for the
corporate sector still the bread and butter. The business moved
premises two years ago to a new five star hygiene rating
catering unit.
Raspberry Catering, from a team of two people, now employs 9
staff and has expanded into two other areas: operating The
Raspberry Tea Room, popular with locals and tourists at the lovely
grounds of Llanyrafon Manor Rural Heritage Centre; and more
recently managing Llanyrafon Manor - the perfect setting for
events and functions including marriage ceremonies and family
celebrations such as christenings in the Tudor hall.
Llanyrafon Manor also holds regular Local Food & Craft Markets
and offers rooms for private and corporate events such as training,
meetings and away days.
