<strong>VIENNA</strong> <strong>FASHION</strong> <strong>WEEK</strong>, the yearly fashion highlight<br />

Die Organisatorinnen von creative headz -<br />

Elvyra Geyer, Zigi Mueller-Matyas und Maria Oberfrank inszenieren bereits seit<br />

2009 ein abwechslungsreiches Programm für Modebegeisterte,<br />

Presse und Fachpublikum.<br />

Pop-Up-Stores laden ein, Neues zu entdecken und zu shoppen, zahlreiche Fashionshows<br />

tauchen im Stundentakt die neuesten Kollektionen in funkelndes<br />

Scheinwerferlicht und im Showroom präsentieren sich dem Fachpublikum<br />

Orderkollektionen.<br />

Elvyra Geyer, Zigi Mueller-Matyas and Maria Oberfrank, the organizers of the annual<br />

fashion-event are producing a program rich in variety for fashionistas, media and<br />

trade experts since 2009.<br />

Pop-up-stores are inviting to discover new designs, to shop and numerous Fashion<br />

Shows are presented in glittering spotlights on an hourly base. The showroom is<br />

exclusively reserved for order-collections presented to the trade experts.<br />

Bereits zum siebten Mal fand vom 9.-13.<br />

September <strong>2015</strong> die Fashion Week statt.<br />

Über 7 Tage begeisterten nationale und<br />

internationale Designer mit mehr als 80 Shows,<br />

Ausstellungen, einem Pop Up Store und<br />

zahlreichen Side Events die österreichischen<br />

und internationalen Modefans.<br />

Die MQ <strong>VIENNA</strong> <strong>FASHION</strong> <strong>WEEK</strong> als<br />

Modeplattform trägt dazu bei dass Wien<br />

zunehmend international als Modemetropole<br />

wahrgenommen wird. Das MuseumsQuartier<br />

als ideale Location wurde wieder einmal zum<br />

Hotspot für Fashionistas aus aller Welt.<br />

The Fashion Week took place from September<br />

9.-13. <strong>2015</strong> already for the 7h time. During<br />

seven days, national and international Designers<br />

thrilled the fashion fans with more than 80<br />

Fashion shows, Exhibitions, a Pop- Up Store<br />

and numerous Side Events.<br />

The MQ <strong>VIENNA</strong> <strong>FASHION</strong> <strong>WEEK</strong> as a Fashion-<br />

Platform is contributing to establish Vienna more<br />

and more as a Fashion Capital internationally.<br />

The MuseumsQuartier being the ideal location<br />

was turned into the Hotspot for Fashionistas<br />

from all over the world.<br />

Mit der MQ <strong>VIENNA</strong> <strong>FASHION</strong> <strong>WEEK</strong> 09 haben<br />

wir einerseits einen kreativen Ausblick auf die<br />

Design Szene skizziert, andererseits aber auch<br />

Einkäufer, Designer und Modebegeisterte zum<br />

Kennenlernen eingeladen um in weiterer Folge<br />

die österreichische Mode international weiter<br />

publik zu machen. Durch die Kooperation von<br />

creative headz gemeinsam mit dem quartier21<br />

und dem MuseumsQuartier Wien haben wir einen<br />

neuen Fixpunkt im Österreichischen Modekalender<br />

geschaffen.<br />

In den Jahren 2010 bis 2013 konnten wir eine<br />

kontinuierliche Steigerung der Teilnahme bei der<br />

Fashion Week auf jährlich bis zu 100 Designern<br />

feststellen.<br />

Das Hauptaugenmerk liegt jedes Jahr auf der<br />

Qualität der gezeigten Mode, diese kommt aus<br />

den Bereichen Avantgarde, Haute Couture und<br />

Pret a Porter.<br />

Through the MQ <strong>VIENNA</strong> <strong>FASHION</strong> <strong>WEEK</strong> 09<br />

we sketched a creative perspective on to the<br />

fashion scene, on the other hand we invited<br />

buyers, designers and fashion enthusiasts to<br />

meet and promote Austrian Fashion even further.<br />

creative headz in cooperation with the quartier21<br />

and MuseumsQuartier Wien has created a new<br />

ledger in the Austrian fashion Calendar.<br />

During the years 2010 until 2013 we noticed a<br />

continious increase of participating designers up<br />

to 100 per year.<br />

Every year the focus was lying on the quality of<br />

fashion coming from the fields of avant-garde,<br />

haute couture and pret a porter.<br />

The campaigns have been shot by Austrian photographers<br />

and mainly realized with Austrian Topmodels.<br />

Die Kampagne wurde jeweils mit einem Österreichischen<br />

Fotografen und vorwiegend mit einem<br />

österreichischen Topmodel realisiert.<br />

auf über 35.000 Fans verzeichnen. Die Berichterstattung<br />

umfasst sowohl die komplette Fashionweek<br />

als auch Blogger Sites und diverse<br />

sonstige online Medien.<br />

Zudem wurde ein Newsletter eingerichtet welcher<br />

regelmäßig versendet wird.<br />
