Flims Laax Falera shuttle
The shuttle runs throughout the entire resort and is free between Falera and
Fidaz with the guest ticket or residents‘ pass. Please note the seasonal journey
times and routes.
Bargisbus
The Bargis High Valley is a dream for families and can easily be reached with
the Bargisbus. This is where the descent from Pinut ends or where tours to
Cassons begin. Descent: Flims Dorf.
Discounted tickets for Flims Laax Falera residents or Visitor’s Card holders.
Passengers with season or day tickets will require an additional ticket.
Nagens Shuttle
Experience high-altitude tours in the Nagens-Grauberg area and discover
Sardona World Heritage. The bus runs between 08.08 am and 4.19 pm, 6 times
a day, from Wednesday to Sunday (30th June to 21st October 2012) from Laax
„Bergbahnen“ to Nagens mountain station, so that you can easily get to the
Vorab Glacier. Last descent from Alp Nagens at 5.00 pm.
Price per journey: CHF 10.00, with Visitor’s Card: CHF 8.00, children (6-16
years) and dogs: 50%, children under 6 years: free. Bike transportation
possible.

FREESTYLE ACADEMY
Teenagers and children can practise new tricks and jumps all year round,
regardless of the weather, in Europe’s fi rst Freestyle Indoor base. This is where

BIKE PUMP TRACKS AND SKILL AREAS
In Flims and Laax, beginners and the advanced bikers can test their biking skills.
On the pump tracks, rhythmical arm and leg movements, known as „pumping“,
are used to make optimum use of momentum to complete the undulating circular
course. In the skill areas, stone and root areas, rockers, hairpin bends and
drops of different heights also put bikers‘ abilities to the test.

will delight younger visitors. In the valley near your accommodation, on the

SEGNESBODEN CLIMBING COURSE

The climbing course on the Segnesboden offers an impressive natural backdrop
with the Atlas and the visible line of the Glarus thrust fault - Sardona World
Heritage site. There is a stable chalk face for climbing in the majestic mountain
valley at just under 2,100 m above sea level.
Routes
The climbing course offers 31 routes, ranging from 2a to 6b in diffi culty. You
can fi nd details in the climbing guide (available for CHF 9.50 in Flims Laax
Falera guest information).
HISTORICAL VIA FERRATA PINUT 1 webcode w1
The historical Pinut via ferrata is a special, irresistible challenge that allows
even inexperienced climbers to ascend the Flimserstein plateau. Safety equipment
is obligatory and can be hired in Flims from the Guest Information Offi ce,
Boarderworld or Sport Beat.

Tectonic arena at Sardona

There is a classic example of orogenesis (mountain formation) in Flims that
cannot be found anywhere else in the world. That is why the Sardona tectonic
arena is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. There are two highlights to discover,
with the impressive Tschingelhörner mountains and the Martinsloch. At the
Glarus thrust fault, older rock lies on younger rock strata. You have to see this
magical phenomenon with your own eyes.

RHINE GORGE
What started with the Flims landslide is now a unique natural backdrop. Over
10,000 years, the Rhine has carved its path through the rock between Ilanz and
Reichenau. This has created a gorge that is justifi ably nicknamed the Swiss
Grand Canyon. The complete experience is only possible with RhB Railway or
river rafting.

PARC LA MUTTA
The megalithic place of worship in Falera came into being in the Middle Bronze
Age (1600 –1200 BC) and it is Switzerland’s largest and most important
megalithic site. This unique centre, which combines astronomy, mathematics
and Bronze Age worship, is under archaeological protection. There are regular
public tours every Saturday from 23.6 - 20.10.2012 and also on Wednesdays
from 8.8. - 17.10.2012. Sunrise tours 21.6/21.7.2012 and children tours

The Bargis High Valley is easy for anyone to reach, whether you choose to go
along the chalk faces of the Flimserstein or to take the Flims Laax Falera Shuttle
from Flims. Hike for four hours along a demanding mountain trail from Bargis
to Alp Mora, where you will see the refreshing sight of the clear turquoise water
of the glacial mills at over 2,000 metres. Trin tourist offi ce offers guided tours

The “Wood & Water” trail leads from Flims Waldhaus via
the Rhine Gorge, to Lake Cresta. It also covers the region‘s culinary
highlights: A selected 3-course menu along the way complements the
