Note : 1. Diesel-fueled vehicles include vehicles fueled with mixtures of diesel and other fuel. Hydrogen carbonate is tested by NMHC.
2. The standards for Mini Buses and Light Trucks apply to Passenger Cars with over 2.5tons of GVW.
3. RW(Reference Weight) is a test weight, which is unloaded vehicle weight plus additional l00kg.
4. The permissible level of blow-by gas shall be 0g/cyle.
5. Emission test is based on the standards at the time of shipment and on unloaded free acceleration method. The manufacturing standards
apply to absorption coefficients of Buses and Heavy Trucks, and checked under the ELR method for engine running condition.
6. The previous standards apply to the Passenger Cars, Mini Buses, Light Trucks, exceeding over 2.5tons of GVW, that are certified by Dec.
31, 2006 and shipped from Jan.1, 2007 to Dec. 31, 2007, and Buses and Heavy Trucks that are certified by Sep. 30, 2006, and shipped from
7. Oct. 1, 2006 to Dec. 31, 2007.
8. HC & NOx emission standards apply to Buses and Heavy Trucks based on the figures of Hydrogen Carbonate.
Previous standards apply to the vehicles that made before the implementation of new standards and shipped within 90days(180days for
9. Heavy Trucks) after the implementation.
The following emission standards apply to the test at steady speeds over the full-load curve.
