CERN, Geneva (Switzerland)
CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, is one of the world’s
largest and most respected centres for scientific research. With its headquarters
in Geneva, this major research institute has been using server systems
from transtec since 1995 – more than 2,000 transtec servers and over 400 disk
arrays support physics research at CERN. transtec designs and develops server
systems explicitly according to CERN’s requirements. Alongside energy and cost
efficiency, the most important factors include performance/storage capacity
per Watt and extremely high packing density.
Collax GmbH, Munich (Germany)
Under the flagship of our channel and ODM business division Lynx, we manufacture
products for Collax Appliances which offer Linux-based high availability
for SMBs. In the name of and on behalf of Collax, we not only assemble the hardware
and brand the products, we also render Collax system images, ship devices
and equipment to customers and deal with service and warranty issues.
