HELEN NEUFELD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP<br />
With the passing of former <strong>MOC</strong> President, Helen Neufeld, on February 28, 1994, the Executive<br />
of the <strong>MOC</strong> passed a motion renaming the Summer <strong>Orff</strong> Scholarship the Helen Neufeld<br />
Memorial Scholarship.<br />

MORNA-JUNE MORROW AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE<br />
IN MUSIC EDUCATION IN MANITOBA<br />
After teaching in public education for 35 years, Founding <strong>Manitoba</strong> <strong>Orff</strong> <strong>Chapter</strong> President,<br />
Morna-June Morrow retired in June 1998. In recognition, the <strong>Manitoba</strong> <strong>Orff</strong> <strong>Chapter</strong> established<br />
an award to recognize excellent teaching by <strong>Manitoba</strong> <strong>Orff</strong> music teachers. This award is<br />
presented at the <strong>MOC</strong> Annual General Meeting in the fall term of each year.<br />
