CHAPTER OFFERINGS April 30-May 1, 1976 MOC hosted the Second National Conference of CARL ORFF CANADA at the Faculty of Education, University of Manitoba. Jan. 5-Mar. 30, 1977 "Instrumental Music in the Elementary Schools" Course taught at the Faculty of Education, University of Manitoba with Morna-June Morrow, Music Supervisor (Fort Garry School Division), and founding President of the Manitoba Orff Chapter. MOC members were allowed to attend the Wednesday evenings sessions free of charge. February 15, 1977 "Come One, Come All, Fun Night" reading session at Oakenwald School, Fort Garry. Attendance: 8 November 26, 1977 Workshop by Jane Frazee of St. Paul, Minnesota at the St. Boniface Teacher Centre. Attendance: 65 February 11,18,25 Carolyn Ritchey, Ruth Wiwchar and Morna-June Morrow give March 4, 1978 an Introductory Orff Course at Oakenwald School in Fort Garry. Attendance: 33 June 7, 1978 “Instrumental Techniques” Workshop with Carolyn Ritchey and Ruth Wiwchar at Oakenwald School in Fort Garry. November 18, 1978 Lynn Matiation of Portage la Prairie gives a workshop at the St. Boniface Teacher Centre. Attendance: 44 January-February 1979 Carolyn Ritchey, Ruth Wiwchar and Morna-June Morrow repeat the previous year’s Introductory Course at Oakenwald School in Fort Garry. READING SESSIONS February 1977 Practical playing sessions of Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman arrangements, including "The Christmas Story".
