Customized Tourism Package with Trophy Bull Tahr Hunt for 2 Hunters & 2 Observers<br />
Join your hosts Bruce & Mieke Flett with New Zealand Hunting and Fishing Adventures<br />
(previously operated as Ngahere Game Ranch) on a 6 day customized package consisting of 3<br />
days of touring and 3 days of hunting. The itinerary is as follows:<br />
Day 1. Arrive at Christchurch International Airport where you will be met and driven to Hanmer<br />
Springs for an overnight stop. Here you will relax in the hot thermal springs and<br />
recover from the journey to New Zealand.<br />
Day 2. Today’s adventure will start with soaking up an early morning dip in the pools before<br />
returning to Christchurch. First stop is a trip on the Gondola to the summit of Mt.<br />
Cavendish, where from the lookout and restaurant you will overlook Christchurch city<br />
and Lyttleton harbor, view the coastline, and in the distance the mighty Southeran<br />
Alps. After descending, you will travel across the city to the Willowbank Wildlife<br />
Sanctuary where you can view the New Zealand Kiwi, Tuatara lizard and numerous other native and endangered wildlife<br />
species. You will have an overnight stay in Christchurch.<br />
Day 3-5. The hunt of your dream begins. You will travel to Tahr Country, “Central South Island’s Southeran Alps”, where from a village<br />
base you will helihunt 2 x trophy Bull Tahr (1 per hunter). Chamois can also be added at the normal trophy fee rates.<br />
Day 6. Travel to Queenstown where you will complete your tour and prepare for your departure home.<br />
One night accommodation included.<br />
Package includes fully guided tour from pick up at Christchurch, to drop off in Queenstown, 6 nights (hotel/motel) accommodation, passes<br />
to Hanmer Springs pools, Gondola ride, Willowbank Wildlife Sanctuary, trophy fees for 2 Tahr, Department of Conservation trophy license fees<br />
for 2 Tahr ($1,000), up to 2 hours helicopter fly time, field dressing of trophies and delivery to local taxidermist. Not included are meals and<br />
any personal expenses. Additional hunting days and trophy species can be added. Package must be used in April or May of 2015.<br />
