Cosmopolitan cities embodying the North American East blend perfectly
with natural wonders and fun activities.
Quebec City
Quebec City
Exuberant and imaginative, Quebecers
have a culture that is unique in North
America. An exciting history, a vast and
diverse land and nature as far as the eyes
can see: Discover Québec in all of its
originality!
Young lands or ancient strongholds,
maritime areas or forested domains, the
22 tourist regions of Québec provide an
exceptional diversity and an unfailingly
warm welcome.
Tourisme Québec
This population of “bon vivants” will show
you their Amerindian, French and British
cultural heritage and they will make you
love all four seasons naturally. In spring, the
maples and lakes thaw. In summer, locals
head out on the terrace and live by the
water of the St Lawrence River. In fall,
nothing stirs hearts like the show of colours
and during winter, Québec is one of the few
places where the snowy season is set under
a bright sun.
Proud of a culinary tradition unique in North
America, Québec is renowned for its terroir
products. Locals adore good food, just as
they adore gathering around a restaurant
table with family or friends. To savour the
true taste of Québec, sample a glass of ice
wine or ice cider, enjoy a slice of farmstead
cheese or try a maple syrup pie.
You will enjoy walking around Montréal and
Québec City. Both boast a wealth of
impressive architecture, religious
heritage and cute boutiques. Spoil your
loved ones with original clothing designs
or artwork typical of Québec! Montréal, the
second-largest city in Canada, is a unique
cosmopolitan urban centre. Its juxtaposition
of French and British influences gives rise to
an exuberant creativity and locals have
developed a crave for hosting many
festivals! Québec City, a UNESCO World
Heritage Site and the only walled North
American city north of Mexico, is a lovely
destination with a European flair and a
romantic atmosphere.
On the road, you will go through pervasive,
bountiful and precious nature as well as
characterful villages and small-towns where
churches are havens of contemplation
shaped by generations of artisans.
