Day 2 – Exploring San Francisco.
Spend the morning taking in the sights of the
city - the bustling activity in Union Square and
the beautiful Golden Gate Park. Later, join

Day 3 – A Taste of California’s
Wine Country . Enter the Napa Valley in
California’s lush premier wine country with a visit
to the Benziger Family Winery s for a fabulous
private tram tour. Take a close-up look at the
vines and learn about the biodynamic farming
approach and the history of the winery while
enjoying the breathtaking views. See the terraced
vineyards and visit the crush pad, barrel aging
caves and Tasting Room where you’ll enjoy an

Day 4 – Yosemite National Park ,
a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travel
through California’s Gold Country to Yosemite
National Park. Explore the valley floor with
its spectacular waterfalls, the imposing rock
formations of El Capitan and Half Dome and

Day 5 – Monterey, the Cradle of
History . Drive down the Sierras and
through the fertile San Joaquin Valley. Browse
the art galleries and shops on Ocean Avenue,
before a relaxing drive along scenic 17-Mile
Drive to Monterey. Enjoy a customised food
tour upon arrival in Carmel where you’ll learn
about local flavours, culture, art, architecture,
and history. For your evening dining pleasure,
you are offered a selection of local restaurants

Day 6 – Hearst Castle and the
American Riviera. Head south to La Cuesta
Encantada, ‘The Enchanted Hill’ high above the

south through the vineyards of the Central Coast
to Santa Barbara. Check into your beachfront

Day 10 – Sedona and the Wonders
of the Mighty Grand Canyon. Head
north to the quaint bohemian colony of Sedona,
and browse the stores and galleries. Enjoy
one of Arizona’s finest drives through Oak
Creek Canyon, before travelling on to Grand
Canyon National Park. During your stay, join
a Local Expert for an informative presentation
about the wonders of the Grand Canyon.

Day 11 – Glen Canyon Dam and Lake
Powell. The choice is yours in the morning:

The journey carries on through the Painted
Desert, a colourful fantasyland of mesas, buttes
and badlands, and through the Navajo Indian
Reservation. Stop at the Glen Canyon Dam
to learn about its impact on the Colorado
River before arriving at your lakefront resort.

views, before taking a leisurely cruise s on

Day 12 – Excursion to Monument
Valley. This day is entirely yours to do

Symphony. Perhaps join an optional float
trip down one of the most scenic stretches of
the Colorado River before heading to Bryce
Canyon National Park in Southern Utah. Enjoy
a leisurely walk along Sunset Point to view the
great amphitheatres of odd-shaped monoliths
known as hoodoos. In the evening, join your
