THE FIGURE PHOTOGRAPHY E-MAGAZINE
PROFILE
I’m Magu, a figure enthusiast from America. Currently
I live in Seattle, but I grew up in Colorado. I
first got into figure collecting in 2009 when I was in
high school, and started doing figure photography
as a hobby not too long after that. My collection is
mostly figures of my favorite anime boys, and I also
have a sizable collection of Pokemon toys. Seeing
all my figures lined up on my desk always puts a
smile on my face!
I’m a noob when it comes to cameras, but I love
taking cool pictures of my figures when I travel. I’ve
brought my figures to exciting places like Israel,
Canada, and Japan. I do most of my work with nendoroids
because I like their cute size, versatility, and
portability, but in the future I’d like to work more
with my scale figures too. I always get so inspired
seeing other collectors’ amazing photos, and that
motivates me to take better and better pictures!
In addition to figure photography, I like to play videogames,
draw, and write fanfiction. I read manga
and watch anime when I can make time for it, too.
