Solid Waste Disposal
Ashore, there is only one place to dispose of
yacht garbage, located near the fish market
jetty next to the vegetable market. These
skips are for the exclusive use of yachtsmen.
Alternatively, yacht garbage may be delivered
‘at sea’ to Daffodil Marine or other reliable
water taxis; a charge per bag applies.
Dumping garbage in unauthorised places is a
prosecutable offence.
Help keep Bequia clean and green! Please do
NOT dump yacht garbage in sidewalk garbage
bins, under the Almond Tree or anywhere else.
There is a large skip near the market for this
purpose.
