C O M M U N I T Y I N V E S T M E N T S A N D G R A N T S The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven makes grants that carry out the intentions of donors while responding to community needs and taking advantage of worthy opportunities. Grants from donor advised funds are made with the participation of the donors. Grants are made from designated funds to support specific organizations as expressed by individual donors or organizations. The Foundation also holds endowed scholarship funds dedicated to providing assistance to students for secondary and post-secondary education and training. The Foundation also makes grants through named funds which express a broad preference or give full discretion to the Board.
