BEGINNER GUITAR LESSONS<br />

Musicians aren’t made over night. It takes practice and a good<br />

beginning foundation. Our guitar lessons are geared toward the<br />

beginning guitarist, however it is great for anyone to work on those<br />

basic skills to enhance their performance. Must bring your own<br />

Inexpensive, effective and safe. Make your own laundry products,<br />

INTRODUCTION TO CONVERSATIONAL<br />

SPANISH<br />

This is an introductory Spanish course for English speaking students<br />

with little or no Spanish background. The emphasis in this course will<br />

be on communication and will be taught using a variety of<br />

interactive methods. Even though proper pronunciation, grammar<br />

usage and vocabulary are very important to excel in speaking,<br />

writing and listening is a very important part in the learning process<br />

as well. Regular attendance, participation in classroom activities and<br />

conversation exercises and weekly independent study to reinforce<br />

topics discussed in class are keys to success. This is a 10 week<br />

MOTHER-DAUGHTER TEEN DATING SAFETY<br />

Today, juveniles are beginning to date as early as their tween years.<br />

By the time they reach high school, 1 in 3 teens know a friend or<br />

peer who has been physically hurt by a partner. Abuse can be<br />

physical, verbal, emotional, or sexual. Bring your daughter to discuss<br />

safety with an instructor from the County Sheriff’s Department.<br />

INTRODUCTION TO NATURAL REMEDIES<br />

Come learn which plants have been traditionally used for specific<br />

health issues. You will also have the opportunity to make an herbal<br />

remedy of your choice. After lunch, learn how to make a lotion bar<br />

and a hydrosol/spritzer. At the end of the day, you will have a<br />

tincture, a lotion bar and a hydrosol or spritzer to take home. Most<br />

importantly, you will have the knowledge to make all of the above<br />

for yourself, your family and for gifts! Additional supplies, materials,<br />

books may be bought at workshop. Lunch will not be provided,<br />
