The Sterling Lacquer Company has been involved in specialized
coatings since 1907, when they started the production and the
sale of chemical resistant coatings for commercial and industrial

Sterling AVIATION COATINGS
The Sterling polyurethane coatings were tested for the first time
in 1996 on a Boeing 727 from TWA. Since then, airline companies

like” effect as coatings for their airplanes.
These extremely hard coatings keep maintenance costs low,
withstand UV-rays, extreme temperature and humidity conditions,

Sterling MARINE COATINGS
The Sterling polyurethane coatings for marine use are a consequence
of years of testing and experience in developing high technology
coatings for the aviation. The many qualities of paints
appreciated for airplanes have convinced more and more
boatyards to use the superior quality of Sterling products.
The epoxy primers of the Marine Coatings range have an exceptional
resistance both below and above the waterline, while
the polyurethane coatings have proved their excellent durability
on topsides and superstructures, even under extreme conditions
of humidity and temperature.
These products have shown their capability to maintain gloss,
colour and resistance three times longer than normal paints.
They withstand sea water, fuels and other chemical agents.
These finishes are practically maintenance-free and do not need
polishing, but only cleaning with water and soap to regain their
original gloss.
