iQ top under 30 Natasha Clarke Natasha joined research and marketing agency Mackman, in 2013, after graduating from university with a degree in Marketing and Advertising. She originally attended Central Saint Martins in London to study Fine Art for a year but quickly realised that art was more of a hobby. After a placement year working at international automotive brand, Citroën, Natasha graduated and moved to Sudbury where she began an internship with Mackman. As of 2015, she was promoted to Brand and Communications Manager. Natasha says she enjoys working with clients from a whole host of different industries. Learning new things and understanding how different industries work in regards to the customers they have and the challenges they face is of particular interest to her. Duncan Darroch-Thompson Duncan Darroch-Thompson founded the Jacaranda UK Foundation in 2015 after spending the summer of 2014 volunteering at the Jacaranda School for Orphans in Malawi, the only entirely free primary and secondary school in the country. Jacaranda UK Foundation is a UKbased charity supporting free education for Malawian children orphaned by AIDS. Duncan says he loves seeing how generous people can be when they realise the impact their money can have, and watching that money make a tangible difference in Malawi. If he could work anywhere in the world he would choose Shanghai, and luckily for him he soon will be, as he is soon to move there to work. Andrew Cooper Partner at Greene & Greene Solicitors, Andrew Cooper, trained and worked for a law firm in Norwich for a number of years after completing his degree and legal studies. In 2012 he moved to Greene & Greene in Bury St Edmunds, where he advises business clients on a range of legal matters. Dealing with local, national and international businesses of all sizes, he provides advice on commercial contracts, company law procedures, fundraising and setting up new companies or partnerships amongst other things. Andrew says he’s been fortunate in business and working with such a variety of people means that he learns lots about different industries and sectors of the economy which he is passionate about. Lucy Cronin Lucy launched her Personal Training and Bootcamp company, 365Motivate, in 2013. She had previously been working at Moreton Hall Health Club as a Fitness Instructor but saw an opportunity to create her own company. As the business owner, she runs all one-to-one sessions and four morning and evening bootcamp sessions per week. She also offers 24/7 support, nutritional guidance and motivation. She loves to see people’s progress and finds watching the transition her clients make whilst with her, very rewarding. Last summer, 365Motivate hosted a family fun day which Lucy organised herself. The day had dance stalls, martial arts, zorbing and bootcamp and raised £300 for St Nicholas Hospital and says it’s one of her proudest achievements. issue 16 | page 19
