Rev. Elaine D.
Thomas, M.S.,
Co-Founder and
Director
Elaine has worked
in the metaphysical
field for 46 years as
a medium, healer,
spiritual counselor
and teacher. Elaine was a student of Rev.
Edith Sandy Wendling, renowned medium
and teacher, who herself was a student of
Sir Arthur and Lady Conan Doyle. Elaine
received training that was rich in the
traditions of Spiritualism’s foremost early
thinkers. Ordained in 1974 as a Spiritualist
minister, her commitment as a student of
spiritual truth is an ongoing process. In
1988, Elaine co-founded and became codirector
of the School of Spiritual Healing
and Prophecy. In 1975, Elaine completed
her undergraduate program in education
at the University of Buffalo. Seven years
in teaching gave Elaine experience in
developing creative education strategies,
based upon the individual needs and
abilities of her students. This led her to
create an educational environment where
students of all ages could again become
aware of their spiritual gifts and how to use
them every day for themselves and others.
In 1981, Elaine completed her masters
degree in counseling at Canisius College,
in Buffalo, NY. She focused her studies
on grief counseling, and her personal
experience with the transformative gifts
that mediumship and spiritual healing can
bring to all. She has been a guest on TV
and radio, including the Oprah Network’s
Beyond Belief and the HBO movie No One

Rev. Tom Cratsley,
B.S., Associate
Director
Tom is an
exceptionally gifted
healer, counselor
and teacher who has
devoted much of his
career to exploring
ways of “healing from the spiritual heart.”
A graduate of University of Buffalo, he
went on to study psychology and religion at
Harvard Divinity School. Tom also studied
with renowned medium, Rev. Edith Sandy
Wendling. Tom’s work has been strongly
influenced by the ideas of psychiatrist
Roberto Assagioli, a groundbreaker in the
fields of humanistic and transpersonal
psychology; by Robert Fritz, for his
pioneering work in structural thinking
and the creative process (and for whom
Tom created and taught a class in the
development of intuition); and by Andrew
Jackson Davis, the 19th-century mystic
who developed a model of the human
psyche based on levels of perception. Tom
is Assistant Director and a faculty member
of the School of Spiritual Healing and
Prophecy. He is also featured in Sandra
Taylor’s book, The Hidden Power of Past
Lives. Tom’s joyful, gentle approach to
teaching and healing opens the hearts
of all who work with him.

Rev. Jessie C. Furst,
B.A., Spiritual
Insight Training
Faculty
Jessie Furst is an
ordained minister
of Fellowships
of the Spirit with
a B.A. in Human
Resource Administration. She has studied
mediumship, psychic and spiritual
development at the Arthur Findlay College
in England. Jessie has appeared on radio
and TV, is a certified professional seminar
leader, hypnotherapist, astrologer, NLP
practitioner, and registered medium in
Lily Dale. She has been a volunteer for the
Domestic Violence Program and hospice.
A dynamic and inspiring teacher, lecturer,
and intuitive consultant for over 35 years,
Jessie continues to pursue her passion
in life of helping others to discover their
purpose and follow their path.

Rev. Dorothy
McCarthy, R.N.
For 38 years Dorothy’s
healing ministry
was in mental health
counseling. Her
work with clients
as a psychiatric
nurse, a therapist,
her work with female and male inmates in
forensic mental health, and as a meditation
instructor has been on the cutting edge.
Dorothy is a graduate of the School of
Spiritual Healing and Prophecy’s first
class and served as President and a board
member of Fellowships of the Spirit
for 17 years.
Spiritual Healing
Rev. Barbara
Sanson
Graduate of the
School of Spiritual
Healing and Prophecy,
she has studied and
worked in this field
since 1970. She is
a certified NLP
practitioner, is certified in Therapeutic
Touch, and has worked extensively with the
hospice movement. Barbara is a powerful
model of the successful integration of
healing and prophecy. She combines both
aspects of her spiritual gifts with ease.
Barbara is currently the President of the Lily
Dale Healing Association, and has served
as the chairperson of Lily Dale’s Healing
Temple since 1992.
