Brgudac, a village on Ćićarija, in the municipality of Lanišće (45 °<br />
23’N, 14 ° 09’E) from the 12th century. Located on the edge of the<br />
flattened areas at 749 meters above the sea level at the foot of<br />
the ridge formed by the Brajkov peak (1092m) and Korita. To the<br />
village leads a narrow road from the direction of Lanišće, but there<br />
are some hiking trails toward Semić, Planik peak and mountain<br />
hut Korita. Small population cultivate modestly fertile land for<br />
their own purposes.<br />
In the past there has been some cattle breeding and production<br />
of charcoal. The area in the medieval age belonged to the<br />
Patriarchate of Aquilea, the Counts of Gorica, and later to the<br />
Venetian Republic.<br />
