music, fashion, and
finding yourself with
the rising star.
To start off, I’d love to hear a
bit about your music!
My EP is called “Things Are
Going To Change.” It comes out
in May. To be honest when I
started the EP I was in a kind of
difficult place and my life has
evolved and I came out of that
place into a really positive place.
I was always a positive person
but we all go through things.
And this was kind of my journey
getting through it and learning
that you can learn from hard
times. There’s always a light at
the end of the tunnel. You
realize eventually things will line
up.
So when you started performing,
did you have to cater to any
specific look to form an image?
It’s really funny, when I was
younger and I was bullied, my mom
actually put me in acting and
performance. For a little while
people would say, “what’s your
look?” Once time passed and I grew
up I decided that my look is me and
I want to dress the way I want to
dress. People stopped asking
questions because they knew. Just
be yourself.
