ABSTRACT<br />
BACKGROUND<br />
OBJECTIVES<br />
This process report is created to act<br />
as a workbook supporting TPD4144<br />
course <strong>Design</strong> Industry.<br />
I created this document mainly<br />
because I felt the majority of my<br />
work was, contrary on what is<br />
expected from this subject, on<br />
the fuzzy front end of the product<br />
development.<br />
I do have sketches and creative<br />
work (also included here), but<br />
for me it was important to<br />
include all the initial research<br />
regarding psychology, market<br />
and competitors, technology and<br />
functionality.<br />
Electrolux was my choice of D6<br />
project path, which, few weeks<br />
in, turned out was not going to<br />
happen.<br />
As exciting as participating in a<br />
RedDot Award competition sounds,<br />
all of us felt a bit lost and confused<br />
having to come up with brief for<br />
ourselves.<br />
However, I believe that after all<br />
everyone managed to find their<br />
right way of dealing with the<br />
situation and create something they<br />
are proud of.<br />
My personal objective with this<br />
course was to use the freedom we<br />
had so that I can chose to work on<br />
something interesting, something<br />
that excites me.<br />
It was important for me to learn<br />
to explore different design tools to<br />
unstuck myself and continue the<br />
development.<br />
I wanted to be serious about it and<br />
do my best, following all steps, or<br />
making up my own steps, in order<br />
to produce something of quality.<br />
