The Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme<br />
ideology, propaganda and persecution of Jews and other victims. The<br />
Programme made the film and background materials on the Holocaust<br />
available to the United Nations Information Centres for use with<br />
students.<br />
In June 2014, the Holocaust<br />
Programme developed the first<br />
Model UN simulation on the<br />
Holocaust and Genocide Prevention<br />
together with the MUN<br />
team and the Office of the Special<br />
Adviser to the Secretary-<br />
General on the Prevention of<br />
Genocide. The Path to Nazi Genocide<br />
served as a teaching aid for<br />
the students who participated<br />
in the Model UN, which was<br />
held at the Bronx High School<br />
for Science in New York City.<br />

In 2013, the Holocaust Programme published<br />
the Discussion Papers Journal Volume II which<br />
included ten articles written by leading Holocaust<br />
and genocide studies scholars from<br />
Argentina, Canada, China, France, Germany,<br />
South Africa, the United Kingdom and the<br />
United States. Author Pan Guang (China) delivers<br />
a gripping account of how Jews made their<br />
Discussion Papers Journal<br />
Volume II produced while writer Andrzej Mirga (Poland) details the<br />
way to Shanghai during the Second World War,<br />
by the Holocaust and the<br />
United Nations Outreach Nazi persecution of Roma and Sinti during the<br />
Programme.<br />

brings the reader to the 21st century with a discussion of the<br />
2011 arrest and pending trial of accused Serbian war criminal Ratko<br />
Mladic. And the timeless value of Holocaust education is explored<br />
as Tali Nates (South Africa) shows how education is helping to heal
