principles and empiric evidence can optimize neonatal skin integrity. This presentation will describe<br />

developmental variations in newborn skin and strategies to prevent and/or treat infusion related injuries and<br />

diaper dermatitis.<br />

Horizontal or lateral violence is considered an act of aggression among nursing professionals. Horizontal<br />

violence creates a negative work environment impairing teamwork and compromising patient care. The<br />

effects of horizontal violence and strategies for prevention and management are addressed in this hour long<br />

interactive session.<br />
