Your Guide to CNE Offerings<br />

Pre-Conference Workshop is a session held on Wednesday before the official opening of the<br />

conference. Participants must pre-register. Seats are limited. Attendees will be selected based on area of<br />

specialty and relevance to the presentation. Dinner will also be provided.<br />

General Sessions (GS) are one hour keynote sessions that are open to all conference attendees.<br />

Specialty Sessions are 60 or 90 minute presentations. These sessions offer the opportunity to hear<br />

experts present the most current information on nursing topics.<br />

CONTACT HOURS<br />

The maximum continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours that<br />

can be earned while attending the <strong>2016</strong> <strong>Nursing</strong> <strong>Perspectives</strong> preworkshop<br />

and conference educational activities is 17.5 contact<br />

hours. To obtain contact hours, you must attend the entire session<br />

and complete the online evaluation. Instructions on how to<br />

complete the online conference evaluation will be provided to all<br />

attendees upon registration.<br />

Grady Health System is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by Baptist Health System, an<br />

accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.<br />

There will be no paper handouts for the <strong>2016</strong> <strong>Nursing</strong> <strong>Perspectives</strong><br />

Conference. <strong>Program</strong> materials, including submitted speaker handouts and<br />

presentations, will be accessible online before, during and after convention<br />

at www.gradyhealth.org/nursingperspectives.<br />

To get CNE for a session, you must attend the session in its entirety and<br />

complete an online evaluation.<br />

For technical assistance before November 1, <strong>2016</strong>, email<br />

nursingperspectives@gmh.edu.<br />

All online evaluations must be completed by November 1,<br />

<strong>2016</strong> in order for CNE to be awarded.
