IDLER PULLEY UNITS<br />
• A pressed-steel pulley and a <strong>Timken</strong> ® precision ball<br />
bearing with rubber seals are combined to make a selfcontained<br />
unit.<br />
• Two pulley designs are available. One for V-belts and<br />
another for the backs of V-belts. Both are made for A, B, C<br />
and D section belts.<br />
• A chain idler, identical in construction to the flat idler, is<br />
available, with the addition of an assembled rubber tire<br />
(part number A-10927). The rubber tire cushions the chain,<br />
preventing undue wear on the pulley surface or chain.<br />
• Idler pulley units feature a <strong>Timken</strong> ® single-row radial ball<br />
bearing with an inner ring extended on both sides. This<br />
provides clearance for abutting parts and greater support<br />
on the shaft.<br />
• Contact-type rubber seals help ensure positive retention for<br />
lubricant and full protection against dirt, dust and foreign<br />
matter.<br />
• All units are non-relubricatable. Special features include<br />
smoothly rolled-over edges, eliminating belt chafing and<br />
scuffing. The weep holes on the rivet circle allow water<br />
drainage when the pulley is mounted in a horizontal position.<br />
