Philippine Australia Ambassador of Culture Night
I have had a number of opportunities to attend the joint efforts of
Plaza Filipino Inc and NARRA Co-operative Ltd. The two groups
are genuinely, philanthropic endeavours to construct a much desired
community centre.
It is indisputable that such an outcome would be very useful for the
community. It would provide invaluable meeting space, storage facilities,
coordination, possible preservation of cultural and historical and
a sports venue.
It is not surprising that in the Filipino community the fundraising process involves song and dance,
plus recognition of peoples’ efforts and successes. Have a great night.
