The area provides quick and easy access to the city of Chicago through a robust and
comprehensive transportation system (both the highway system and public transportation),
while providing a large workforce population, available land, and a Chamber with multiple,
local Village governments that are supportive of both new and existing businesses.

A wide mix of over 4,000 businesses makes up the more than 150 industries located in the
near west suburbs. Among others, they include construction, manufacturing, retail, finance,
medicine and technology. This diversity promotes a stable economy, thousands of jobs, and
