The car is very much a British<br />
production. The design was developed<br />
in London at studios known as<br />
‘The Bank’, named after the building’s<br />
previous function. Many of the<br />
designers and engineering team<br />
are British, and the car rolls off the<br />
production line at the purpose-built<br />
facility at Goodwood in Sussex.<br />
Much research was undertaken and<br />
the design team set out to ensure the<br />
Phantom was a true Rolls-<strong>Royce</strong>, with<br />
long wheelbase and bonnet, short front<br />
overhang, large wheels and a presence<br />
which is both confident and imposing.
