When the new company came
into being, a factory was needed to
create the new car. The Goodwood
facility in the 42-acre grounds of the
Earl of March’s famous Goodwood
Estate, which has its own motor
racing heritage, was ideal.
It’s hard to believe that a centre of
engineering and technical excellence
exists in such peaceful surroundings,
the factory blending effortlessly
with the natural surroundings, which
include landscaped gardens and a
causeway spanning a peaceful lake.
