Fees Fees payable to the University You can choose to pay the fees in one of two ways. Either: pay the total amount upfront when you first enrol Or: pay as you go, spreading the total cost. • Pay the registration fee when you enrol • Pay the module fee each time you are ready to begin studying a new module. The fees given below for 2017 are valid from 1 January 2017. 2016 2017 Initial registration fee (Paid once) £886 £900 Fee for each module £486 £500 Total Postgraduate Certificate £3,316 £3400 (5 modules and registration fee) Total Postgraduate Diploma £5,746 £5900 (10 modules and registration fee) Total Master of Laws (LLM) £8,662 £8900 (16 modules and registration fee) Individual module £530 £545 Please note that if you progress to another award, you only pay for the additional modules. Certain other fees may be payable to the University, such as an APL request fee (see programme web pages), an examination re-entry fee, and a fee for the production of transcripts. These fees are not included in the totals given opposite. Financial assistance Some employers in both the public and private sector may offer financial assistance to their employees. No financial assistance is available from the University. The Scheme provides financial support to eligible Service personnel who wish to enhance their educational or vocational achievements.
