CORE PROPOSITION
A modern method of construction
and an innovative British business.
One of the UK’s first trailblazer
manufacturers of ‘fully furnished’
houses and apartments.
In summary, it’s a fully furnished
home, manufactured in a factory
and delivered to site as a completed
“turnkey” unit on the back of a
flat-bed truck and craned into
position, taking only a few days
to fully commission.
“To address the housing
crisis at least 300,000 new
homes are needed annually
for the foreseeable future...
One million homes by 2020
will not be enough.”
VISION AND VALUES
PILLARS OF OUR PHILOSOPHY
“Our vision is to become
the Henry Ford of the
housing market.
Our proposal is to
manufacture affordable
homes in a factory.
Our aim is to help solve
the UK housing crisis.”
Glynne Benge
Chairman & CEO, Offsite Homes
Innovation
We value innovation, changing the way affordable
homes are being built in the UK by creating fully
finished modular homes in a factory.
Quality
We strive for excellence, exceeding our customers’
expectations by doing things right first time and
taking pride in every detail of the homes we
manufacture.
Culture
We nurture a friendly, inclusive team environment
amongst all our employees, suppliers, customers
and shareholders and strive for continuous
improvement.
Legacy
We create meaningful jobs and sustainable starter
homes to make a real difference to the lives of
future generations.
MARKET OPPORTUNITY
“The reason our housing system
is so dysfunctional is that we are
not building enough new homes
of any tenure - not just for home
ownership - so there is a mismatch
between supply and demand.”
“We can only tackle this by
building more homes - in England
we need to build 250,000 a year.”
Grainia Long
Chief Executive, Chartered Institute of Housing
Current UK housing supply has plateaued year
on year and the latest NHBC output figures show
c.152,000 new homes being built per annum. With
a government target to produce c.250,000 new
homes per annum, the UK now faces a significant
housing crisis driven by a number of factors:-
• Lack of skilled tradesmen.
• An ageing population.
• Increase in single living.
• Lack of available mortgages for first time buyers.
• Social housing development decline.
• An increase in net migration.
• National house builders’ unwillingness and
inability to build more homes.
• The UK population will increase by 10 million over
the next 25 years, according to official statistics.
Offsite Homes will serve the needs of social
housing associations, local and central government
(HCA), local authorities, private rental sector,
strategic land owners and mid-size private
property developers.
OUR CONCEPT
TARGET CUSTOMERS
First time buyers
younger couples and young families.
The concept of offsite modular housing
is not new and dates back to the early
1800’s and modular building methods
are well established in the wider
property industry.
Our unique combination of two
dimensional panel sections and three
dimensional volumetric open and closed
modules use a steel frame structure and
are mass produced, on a continuous line
basis, every 40 minutes.
However, what Offsite Homes are doing
is revolutionary and there are no direct
competitors in the UK market, at present.
Downsizing buyers
retired/semi-retired empty nester couples & divorcees.
Social Housing buyers
for long term social rental projects.
Private & Residential landlords
for long term private rental projects.
“Clearly, as one of the region’s key
social housing providers, First Wessex
would wish, where possible to support
such an initiative as any help with job
creation and affordable housing in the
region matters to us all.”
