Female Choir „Cantabile“

Der russische Chor Female Choir „Cantabile“
of the Karelian State Pedagogical Academy
wurde 1986 gegründet. 2011 wird er sein
25-jähriges Jubiläum feiern. In all den Jahren
hat sich der Chor ein Repertoire sowohl russischer
als auch internationaler Chorliteratur
unterschiedlicher Epochen und Stilrichtungen
erarbeitet.
Der Chor umfasst 30 bis 35 Sänger. Er besteht
aus Studenten und Absolventen aus unterschiedlichen
Abschlussjahren. Chorleiterin ist
Lyubov Sazhina.
Der Chor „Cantabile“ hat u. a. folgende Preise
erhalten:
• Ein goldenes Diplom beim internationalen
Chorwettbewerb „Praga-Cantat“ in
Tschechien (2007)
• Ein Diplom für die erfolgreiche Teilnahme
am Festival „Neva Chorus Assemblies“ in
St. Petersburg (2008)
• Ein Diplom für die beste Vorführung eines
Volksliedes beim regionalen Festival „Easter
Chimes“ in Petrozavodsk (2009)
The Female choir “Cantabile” of the Karelian
State Pedagogical Academy was founded in
1986. 2011 the choir will celebrate the 25 th
season of creative activity. All through these
years the choir has been gaining a significant
repertoire of Russian as well as foreign female
chorus music of different epochs and genres
plus music of contemporary composers.
The choir comprises 30 to 35 singers. They
are students and graduates of the Academy
of different years. The choir is conducted by
Lyubov Sazhina.
Some achievements of Female choir “Cantabile”
of the Karelian State Pedagogical Academy:
• Golden Diploma at the International
Competition “Praga-Cantat” in the Czech
Republic (2007)
• Diploma for the successful participation at
the festival “Neva Chorus Assemblies” in
St. Petersburg (2008)
• Diploma for the best performance of a folk
song at the regional festival “Easter
Chimes” in Petrozavodsk (2009)
