Hose test
Miele suction hoses are twisted, flexed and
stretched with an 11 lb. weight 120,000
times in the laboratory. You can pull your
Miele vacuum cleaner along behind you
without giving it a second thought.
Motor Endurance Test
We demand top performance from our
vacuum cleaners from the first day to the
last. Miele motors must demonstrate their
quality during an intense endurance test
which includes constantly switching them
on and off.
Threshold Test
In real life, Miele vacuum cleaners are
subjected to many knocks and obstacles.
During the threshold test, they have to
endure this strain 16,500 times without
interruption.
Cable Rewind Test
Miele supply leads are unwound and
rewound again more than 10,000 times in
our test apparatus. Only then are we
completely convinced that everything will
work perfectly for you in your home.
Floorhead Test:
A Miele floorhead must master over 1,200
miles of cleaning various types of flooring
surfaces- that is nearly as far as Seattle to
Los Angeles. They also cross a carpeted
door threshold 60,000 times.
The Handle Test
Miele vacuum cleaner handles are loaded
with 11 lb.weights and then raised and
lowered 120,000 times. The handle must
withstand the permanent effect of being
lifted without being damaged.
