Dear citizens,
On the forthcoming 16th of October our City
of Calella will have the honour of welcoming
one of the most wide-ranging World Choir
Festivals. In this year’s celebration, known
as Canta al Mar, 80 Choirs from 30 different
countries will take part. This event is a great
chance to interact with other countries and,
at the same time, to enrich our own culture.
Calella will be again the meeting point between
different countries and cultures and
so becoming a modern city and a tourism
reference. Therefore I would like to take this
chance to express my joy and encourage all
Calella citizens to get involved in this unique
event that will take place during the week of
the 16th of October.
From the City Hall of Calella we would like to
invite our citizens to enjoy this first festival,
and as usual we would like to count on maximum
participation and attendance.
With all our efforts we will achieve a magnificent
festival.
Benvolgudes i benvolguts,
Com alcaldessa de la Ciutat de Calella vull
aprofitar aquesta ocasió per enviar els millors
desitjos per al festival de Cant Coral que
es celebrarà a la ciutat xinesa de Guangzhou.
L’esdeveniment té lloc dels dies 8 al 14 de novembre
d’aquest any.
Com a ciutat amb experiència en el sector del
turisme cultural volem donar el nostre suport
a la ciutat de Guangzhou per a què pugui celebrar
aquest esdeveniment amb un èxit espectacular.
Així mateix, ens agradaria transmetre
que les nostres experiències pel que fa
als esdeveniments de Cant Corals han estat
molt satisfactòries. El poble calellenc un cop
més ha acollit aquesta festa amb il·lusió i
amb ganes de seguir treballant i millorant.
Per tot això, desitgem que aquesta trobada
tingui l’èxit merescut i compensi l’esforç i la
feina realitzada per tota la ciutat de Guangzhou.
