This beautiful Grade II listed building located<br />
in the heart of Westminster offers an excellent<br />
choice of conference, meeting, banqueting and<br />
exhibition facilities. The impressive entrance hall<br />
welcomes delegates and guests into a venue<br />
steeped in history, where many important<br />
engineering decisions have been made.<br />
The venue's magnificent rotunda lets natural<br />
light into the building and throughout the rooms,<br />
many of which are ornately decorated with walnut<br />
and oak panelling, carved plaster ceilings and<br />
elaborate crystal chandeliers. Two theatres, plus<br />
18 rooms of varying sizes are available, many<br />
named after pioneering civil engineers, such as<br />
Brunel, Rennie and Stephenson.<br />
The venue will be familiar to fans of the television<br />
series Spooks, has appeared in the blockbuster<br />
movie Gandhi, hosted shows for London Fashion<br />
Week as well as birthday parties and celebrations<br />
for royalty and politicians, and was the media<br />
centre for London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic<br />
