Owned and run by James Bear Award-winning Chefs Tim and Nancy Cushman,
Covina serves a beautiful blend of fresh American dishes with delicious Mediterranean
distinction. The restaurant features a glorious bar with seating that allows
guests to view the chefs at work. The space is perfect for evening drinks and
dinner any night of the week, as the restaurant is open for dinner 5:30 to 10:00
or 11:00 seven days a week. This small window of time often means there are
crowds – but to get a shot at the menu, we think it’s totally worth it.
The atmosphere at Covina is casual, with a trendy look and feel that makes it
perfect for after-hours drinks with coworkers or a night out with someone special.
The Hungarian Fry Bread has received numerous accolades from reviewers, and
comes highly recommended. The pizzas are wood-fired for a delicious smoldering
flavor, and the hummus appetizer is said to be amazing as well.
If you decide to give this eclectic joint a chance,
we do recommend calling ahead, as those 5-6
hours of open doors can lead to some serious
lines, especially on weekends.
