rasserenante idea di un<br />

approdo. Ancor più recente, il<br />

Giardino terapeutico creato<br />

nel luglio 2013 all'Ospedale<br />

San Camillo al Lido di <strong>Venezia</strong><br />

all'interno del parco già<br />

esistente, in quella stretta<br />

lingua di terra racchiusa fra la<br />

laguna nella zona di Malamocco<br />

e la profonda spiaggia<br />

sul mare Adriatico protetta<br />

da alte dune sabbiose su cui<br />

crescono piante pioniere.<br />

Primo progetto in Italia<br />

pensato specificamente per<br />

pazienti ricoverati in Neuroriabilitazione,<br />

questo Giardino<br />

terapeutico è stato progettato<br />

e donato<br />

dall'architetto paesaggista<br />

Paolo Sgaravatti e dalla<br />

garden designer Benedetta<br />

Piccolomini.<br />

Facilmente accessibile anche<br />

da pazienti in carrozzina o<br />

con disabilità fisiche, si presenta<br />

come uno spazio accogliente,<br />

ordinato e armonioso<br />

in cui tutto è stato pensato<br />

per essere bello, funzionale e<br />

an anchorage. Still more recently,<br />

the therapeutic<br />

garden was created in July<br />

2013 at the San Camillo Hospital<br />

in Venice Lido within<br />

the existing park, in that<br />

narrow strip of land enclosed<br />

between the lagoon in the<br />

Malamocco area and the<br />

deep beach on the Adriatic<br />

Sea protected by high sand<br />

dunes on which pioneer<br />

plants grow.<br />

The first project in Italy<br />

created specifically for<br />

inpatient neuro-rehabilitation,<br />

this therapeutic garden was<br />

designed and donated by the<br />

landscape architect Paolo<br />

Sgaravatti and the garden<br />

designer Benedetta Piccolomini.<br />

Easily accessible for patients<br />

in wheelchairs or with physical<br />

disabilities, it is a welcoming,<br />

orderly and harmonious<br />

space in which<br />

everything has been designed<br />

to be beautiful, functional<br />

and stimulating. A large
