sometime in the 1380s by Sir William Bagot<br />

a distinguished nobleman is thought <strong>to</strong><br />

have entertained Richard II. Artefacts and<br />

pho<strong>to</strong>graphs from the excavation work are<br />

on display. Walk <strong>to</strong> the ruins of the Castle and<br />

Summer house, visiting the Bagot goats and<br />

Herdwick sheep on your way then stroll along<br />

the River Sowe and visit the fishponds. Picnic<br />
