Carlton le Willows
Carlton le Willows Academy has served the community for over
sixty years with each generation of students richly benefitting from
the excellent education on offer.
Academy staff aim to provide a safe and caring environment where
all people are valued. Alongside an outstanding record of academic
success, the school offers a broad curriculum and comprehensive
range of sporting, social and enrichment opportunities that
encourage students’ all round development.
Head teacher Craig Weaver explained: “One of our distinctive
features is that we are able to offer an education for every future.
We will always provide nothing but the best so all our young
people can experience success, make positive contributions to the
school community and go on to become responsible, independent
members of society.
“Our students know they come to a happy school where academic
standards are high and where discipline, hard work and learning go
hand in hand with respect, courtesy and kindness.”
Carlton le Willows also has a purpose-built sixth form centre
offering a comprehensive curriculum within a friendly, thriving
community with a proven track record for educational excellence.
“Carlton le Willows is an outstanding place to learn and work, but
the best way to appreciate that is to come and see us in action. You
are welcome to visit any time.”
Worksop College and
Prep School Masterplan
Our Story Continues
As a new school year is on the
horizon, it is often a time when
parents begin to consider their
options for their child’s education in
the future. At Worksop College and
Prep School, this year has seen the
first steps taken in our multi million
pound programme of investment
over the next two years.
We’re dedicated to ensuring our
pupils receive the highest quality
education – and our £15m development plan demonstrates our
commitment to providing outstanding education for our children.
In February 2016, a brand new 60-bed boys’ boarding house
was opened at The College, accommodating the growing, thriving
boarding community. Weekly, flexi and casual boarding is provided
at both the Preparatory School and The College, for boys and girls.
From September we will welcome Years 7 and 8 to The College for
the first time, moving from the Preparatory School into a dedicated
Junior House.
Our exciting plans will also see the relocation of the Preparatory
School, currently situated a short drive away from the College, into
a brand new state-of-the-art Junior School, for Nursery to Year 6,
on the College site.
To fully experience for yourself everything that Worksop College
and Preparatory School has to offer for your child’s future, why not
