technologies to upgrade
exploration of available
resources’.
it be for Rwanda to follow up on the contacts which
were established at the recent WEF African forum and
begin implementing on agreed activities with potential
partners?
FG: The fact that WEF took place in Rwanda’s capital,
Kigali was yet another platform to forge partnerships
which will yield deals in future.
Not only key stakeholders in Government were on
board to showcase available business opportunities, but
also key members of the private sector interacted with
their counterparts on ways to maximize the untapped
local and regional opportunities.
took place in Rwanda saw huge projects materializing,
the recent example of computers assembled in Rwanda
resulted of the Transform Africa Summit.
NMI: Considering the recent WEF Africa theme
“Connecting Africa’s Resources through Digital Transformation”,
what sectors does Rwanda plan to prioritise
now that the event has passed?
African leadership needs to explore and maximize technologies
available to upgrade exploration of available
resources. Better digital services in Rwanda will open
up opportunities locally, regionally and internationally.
In this time of increasing globalization, internet is the
prominent medium that allows us to interact so closely
together, in areas such a trade and development. Rwanda
