The ROMAN FORUM<br />
What was the centre of the ancient Roman world. It contains the ruins of<br />
several important ancient government buildings and citizens of ancient<br />
Rome knew this space as a marketplace or, Forum Magnum. It was the<br />
centre of Roman public life for centuries. Triumphal processions, commerce,<br />
political, judicial and religious pursuits all occurred here.<br />
