It’s <strong>October</strong>!!!<br />
There are so many things I absolutely love about this<br />
month! It’s my second favorite month of the year...<br />
Let’s start with Pumpkin EVERYTHING!!!<br />
It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month - a cause near and dear to<br />
me that is represented by my favorite color PINK!<br />
And of course...HALLOWEEN!!! My favorite holiday - only because<br />
my birthday isn’t considered a holiday (I’m working on that).<br />
This issue of <strong>Atlantic</strong> <strong>Ave</strong> <strong>Magazine</strong> is chock full of great ways<br />
to celebrate Halloween, and events to donate and/or participate<br />
in supporting *wink* Breast Cancer.<br />
Our City Person is Susan Duane, and she is amazing. She is a<br />
passionate philanthropist, serving on many local committees and<br />
making changes in many lives. She is currently an active (and former<br />
Co-President) of Impact 100. An organization that has raised<br />
and donated over 1.5 million dollars for non-profits.<br />
Hungry for Steak, Italian, Sushi? The place to go is Prime! Now<br />
located just a few steps off the <strong>Ave</strong>, they continue their scrumptious<br />
menu with something for everyone. The atmosphere is<br />
perfect, and the food is too. Beginning <strong>October</strong> 19 they will be<br />
serving “all you can eat” Stone Crab! YUM!!! Read all about it in<br />

Head on over to Pineapple Grove the week of <strong>October</strong> 3-8 and<br />
“Get Your Grove On!” There is something fun to do, see, and hear<br />
