Day 1. Australia – Seoul<br />

Day 3. Seoul – Mt. Seoraksan<br />

Visit Mt Seoraksan National<br />

Park, Korea’s most famous<br />

national park and a UNESCO<br />

Biosphere Preservation District<br />

with many rare species. Tour<br />

Sinheungsa Temple and take the<br />

cable car to Gwonkeumseong<br />

Fortress to experience the<br />

beautiful natural landscapes.<br />

Continue to Sokcho fishing<br />

village in the afternoon.<br />

Day 4. Mt. Seorak – Andong<br />

– Gyeongju<br />

Visit the traditional village of<br />

Andong, with its well-preserved<br />

traditional houses and unique<br />

mask dancing performance. Later,<br />

travel to Gatbawi Shrine.<br />

Day 5. Gyeongju<br />

Today, explore the many<br />

archaeological sites and temples,<br />

royal tombs and monuments of<br />

Gyeongju, the capital of the<br />

ancient Silla Kingdom. Take in<br />

Cheomseongdae Astronomical<br />

Observatory, Royal Tumuli Park,<br />

Gyeongju National Museum,<br />

Bulguksa Temple, and<br />

Seokguram Grotto Temple.<br />

Day 6. Gyeongju – Seoul<br />

This morning you’ll visit<br />

Changdeokgung Palace, one of<br />

the five grand palaces built by the<br />

kings of the Jeoson Dynasty.<br />

Then explore Insadong, a street<br />

full of traditional antique stores<br />

and tea houses. There’s a visit to<br />

a Korean ginseng centre, and a<br />

night view over the city from<br />

Namsan tower.<br />

Day 7. Seoul<br />

Visit the Demilitarised Zone<br />

(DMZ), a 44-kilometre drive<br />

north-west of Seoul, and see<br />

North Korea’s 3rd Infiltration<br />

Tunnel – an entire infantry<br />

division can move through<br />

this tunnel in an hour. View North<br />

Korean territory from the Dora<br />

Observation Platform, and visit<br />

Freedom Park, dedicated to the<br />

five million people who left their<br />

homes in North Korea.<br />

Day 8. Seoul – Osaka<br />

Take a direct flight from Seoul to<br />

Osaka and transfer to your hotel.<br />
