Day 1. Australia – Seoul
Day 2 Seoul Arrival
You will be greeted by your tour
guide and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3. Seoul – Mt. Seoraksan
Visit Mt Seoraksan National
Park, Korea’s most famous
national park and a UNESCO
Biosphere Preservation District
with many rare species. Tour
Sinheungsa Temple and take the
cable car to Gwonkeumseong
Fortress to experience the
beautiful natural landscapes.
Continue to Sokcho fishing
village in the afternoon.
Day 4. Mt. Seorak – Andong
– Gyeongju
Visit the traditional village of
Andong, with its well-preserved
traditional houses and unique
mask dancing performance. Later,
travel to Gatbawi Shrine.
Day 5. Gyeongju
Today, explore the many
archaeological sites and temples,
royal tombs and monuments of
Gyeongju, the capital of the
ancient Silla Kingdom. Take in
Cheomseongdae Astronomical
Observatory, Royal Tumuli Park,
Gyeongju National Museum,
Bulguksa Temple, and
Seokguram Grotto Temple.
Day 6. Gyeongju – Seoul
This morning you’ll visit
Changdeokgung Palace, one of
the five grand palaces built by the
kings of the Jeoson Dynasty.
Then explore Insadong, a street
full of traditional antique stores
and tea houses. There’s a visit to
a Korean ginseng centre, and a
night view over the city from
Namsan tower.
Day 7. Seoul
Visit the Demilitarised Zone
(DMZ), a 44-kilometre drive
north-west of Seoul, and see
North Korea’s 3rd Infiltration
Tunnel – an entire infantry
division can move through
this tunnel in an hour. View North
Korean territory from the Dora
Observation Platform, and visit
Freedom Park, dedicated to the
five million people who left their
homes in North Korea.
Day 8. Seoul – Osaka
Take a direct flight from Seoul to
Osaka and transfer to your hotel.
